Any simple door would work. a full view if privacy isn't a concern.

Since the arches are already in the windows, I'd keep the door itself plain and let the glass do the work. A door with a glass panel in the top half or a three-light style brings in daylight without looking matchy. If privacy matters, ask for frosted or reeded glass, and pick a soft color a shade or two off the white so it doesn't disappear.

Suggest 3/4 glass to bring more light into your home and to create a more welcoming entrance. If interested, the door’s shade below would work well with your roof and the siding. You mentioned painting the alcove white, but conside duplicating the color of your siding.

When possible, suggest adding higher landscaping right across the house.

That is very similar to one of the doors I’m looking at. I wasn’t sure if it would look ok.

IF you choose a door with glass, here is my suggestion. Get PLAIN glass.

The plain glass is better insulated, has a longer warranty and is MUCH less expensive!

If you want to have a "decorative glass", you can add a high quality film.

You can also change the film at a later time.

We just got a 6 pane front door with clear glass and beveled edged, love the bevel! We realized we could add a film for privacy if needed but like it this way!
