How much is painted orange? I would repaint that area above your bed and the small wall next to the chest pink to start with.

Maybe you should paint the ceiling a different color. I think the white against the bold colors might be the problem.

Hi---it looks as though the room doesn't get that much natural light, so don't block what light you do get with your bed... I think you should consider moving your bed, perhaps facing the window, and place a desk or small table/chairs/bench in the window nook. I also recommend painting the room a lighter color (pink, peach, orchid, etc.) ---color could be wrapped onto the ceiling, or paint ceiling a bright white. Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!
