Wall decor issues

I'm turning my daughter's old bedroom (about 10 X 11) into a small tv room. I like the way it's turned out, but I've got a corner that I just don't know what to do with. I've got mirrors and framed family photos on one wall (the family pics will be taken this weekend), one wall is the window, a dresser and tv is on another wall, and the closet along with the menacing empty corner is the other wall. I don't want to put another picture there as I think there's enough framed "stuff" in the room. Maybe shelves? Maybe some fun pallet-type art? And should anything go above the tv wall? I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!

Would a sofa bed be a better fit than the two chairs? Then could double as guest room.

I think a sofa bed is always a good idea to make a room more versatile. Keeping in mind that sofa beds are not the most comfortable as sofas or beds!

Two recliners are new so can't get rid of them, and there is a different guest room.

Can you extend your curtain rods out a little? Move the curtains out so they don't cover the window but start right at the frame. This will fill in a little more visual space. I don't think you will need anything in the corner. Can you turn the area rug the other way so that it is in front of the chairs? Have just the front of the chairs resting on the rug and possibly move the chairs back a tad.

Put something living in there--a nice group of tall and shorter plants by the window. Also, a small bookcase might fit too.

I took this from another room in the house. Your thoughts? I can't move the two chairs back because they're recliners. And I might try the trick of turning the ride. It just might work.

I would put something on the wall vertically before adding another item to the room. The chairs are already very large and heavy looking so anything on the floor will be overlooked and will look too small for the space.

You should have extended your curtain rod farther out to give the illusion of a larger window. The curtains would then sit on the outside of the window for staging.

You can't see out the window, and isn't there glare on the TV? I'd put the TV in that corner and the chairs under the family photos. You wouldn't have to turn the rug, just pull it toward the other side the the room so the chairs have their front feet on it.

Paint the walls white and an English Ivy.

A sofa bed would look nice to.

Painting the TV stand would look wonderful.

Maybe add a painting to the wall
