New Interior Paint Help

We have a 2700 sq foot home that needs a complete interior paint job. It is not have a ton of natural light so I was thinking a very pale gray would help brighten the house. Any suggestions on different shades or colors for the walls? Also, what type of white would you use for the trim and ceilings and would you paint the kitchen cabinets the same white? I really appreciate the help!!
