Dear Leslie, the artist, Lucy Dawson, from the UK, was well known for sketching neighbors' and friends dogs, and became famous for the natural style of each dog. She passed away many years ago, and there are books that can be found ( one is "Dogs, as I see them") and they are becoming rare. We have a few of these books, and as they are in terrible condition - make a great source for single pages as "Prints" we use in framing. Here, we used high quality framing, with over sized matting in silk, with 22K gold inner fillet that provides a great "glint" of light right around the image. Glad you like them!
