bedroom colour scheme

I've got a few ideas on colour scheme for my bedroom, to give it more depth and personality. I started with wanting a light coloured, white furniture bedroom, but I think it lacks depth. So I came up with olive green feature wall and work from there. But I'm not sure if white furniture could work here. Would replace the bed to Queen size. Suggestions!

What about a wallpaper feature wall? Adds depth,texture and interest.

I don't like the khaki-olive tone with white, but the sage of your chair maybe! Better yet why not a color you like already, from your bedding - is it warm pink .. yellow? or from post of hot pink...

beachlily, I would like to keep the walls plain as I travel a lot and would have lots of smaller patterned pieces. Usually my room end up with uncoordinated junk.

everdebz, yeah I though the white would be out of place with the olive green. This bedroom is from my teenage years, and I need to update it to be more sophisticated and slightly more gender neutral. and I dislike the bedding that is on there now (mum's taken over as I am overseas the past 4 years, and rarely home the 5 years before that hence all the things in boxes and the room looked not lived in).
