I have seen this done vertically in bathrooms and really like it. I think it's fresh and different but you really can't go wrong either way. Love the tile.

i'm more of a horizontal tile fan....but in any case I think it will look great either way that's a wonderful tile choice!

Thank you so much for answering my question and for the compliments on the tile (it is beautiful in person)! This is incredibly helpful to me. I think I am going to go horizontal for the reason that B. Fein Interiors stated--the ceiling is high, but the wall is not wide. I feel confident now! :-)

Remember vertical elongates and really gives an elegant feel. I have to agree that either way is just as good as you have the height.

Margo, I cannot stand it when the light points down. I deliberately had all my bathroom lights pointing up. I like that color! Thank you for the suggestion!

I guess I would go Grizzle Gray, at least it has some blue in it. Gray is well, just so gray.
