Interior door hardware?

We are building a new home and I need to choose hardware. I am kind of tired of the bronze look and was thinking satin or brushed nickel. What is the next new trend in hardware? I am using brushed nickel in the kitchen.

I have always really liked brushed nickel, especially for a more contemporary home.

What overall style would you say you are going for?

Traditional/craftsman. Natural cherry cabinets. Not true craftsman because we are having painted woodwoork - off white but I am painting 5" baseboard black. Thanks for your input. I am a designer but am second questing myself on every decision. It's so hard to do this for myself!

Consider black, it looks great with everything, especially Craftsman. Make sure the finish is a high quality finish, you might have to pay a little more for good product. Check out Baldwin. Hope that helps. Charmean Neithart
