Can I make this dinette table work?

HELP Please! I'm challenged with interior design. Attached is a dinette table I'd like in my casual dining area. I've also included pictures of the adjoining living area and drapery panels I've ordered. Is this table too casual? It's distressed white. And if not, what type chairs should I get? Our home is in Florida. Thank You!

If you add some cushions and the right rug it could work. The only problem with this set is going from dark woods and large sized furniture to then a lighter feeling table and chairs. It looks like you have started creating a nice color palette for your space. If you do go with other chairs and table, don't select ones that overpower the space. Your space looks ready for some personal touches, with more art and things that you like. Hope this helps!

Hey,

Your space is very nice and you've done a great job thus far.
- I think the table is nice and and the distressing speaks to the style of the drapery.
- I would say move forward with it if it is indeed functional (accommodating the amount of seating you're looking for)
- Judging by all of your other furniture selections, I would select a chair that is fabricated and select a color from your drapes (ex: a light blue or khaki linen)

I like it. However, the chairs are very casual. You could go with the same table and upgrade your chairs. The chairs remind me of outdoor chairs, but I do love the destressed look. It will make a nice transition. That is what chabby-chic is all about.

Thanks everyone! I've been stressing about it. The rest of my living area is pretty modern and this dinette area would be chabby-chic. Here's a photo of the space in which this table would go

Counter height chairs makes a difference..here are some ideas - trying to fancy it up a bit. But once you start changing the chairs, it's going to get a bit pricey. Your set is attractive..if you can return it, bring it home and see if it works.
