Had you intended to attach the floorplan? If so it needs to be in jpeg format.

I agree with Malty Design. Be blunt, be honest. Designers should have thick skin. Remember it is your home and should function for your life not for someone's portfolio. Post a pic of the floor plan. I have done many plans for large families...on the board right now designs for 4 kids, 7 kids and 16 kids (yes, 16). Post pic and good advice will come...or should.

Building a home is very personal and emotional with overwhelming details and decisions. I'm trying to read between the lines. Am guessing you don't really know what you want and/or you keep changing your mind plus perhaps you want things that may not be possible within your budget or with your elevation and are expecting the architect to work miracles.

There a thousands of books and magazines out there with house plans. Hopefully you had done your homework and presented the best parts of some them to your architect before he started. Does he/she have a good idea of your vision? If not perhaps you you stop and do so. Every professional worth his salt wants a happy client. But we can't read minds or see your vision unless you give us a good picture. If this has been too contentious perhaps you need to start over , knowing what went wrong last time. Best of luck.

Even if you post the floor plan(s), we don't have enough information about your lifestyle, wants/needs as the architect who has been working with you for a period of time.

Speak up but not "I don't like this" you have to be vocal about what you want not just a vague complaint. I agree we ndon't read minds and you have to know what you want.
