I would like to re-paint my kitchen cabinets. My kitchen is custom built 16+ years ago, birch - med brown. Last year, I painted the outside cabinets blk. I think it's too dark for my small kitchen.
I'm thinking about re-painting them an ivory white to make my kitchen feel more open and bigger.
question: Do I just paint over the black? Do I have to sand each cabinet? What type of paint do you suggest? Any special Ivory white that you can recommend? I'm also looking to update the floor.
Either a wood floor, to match the rest of the house or a fun, light colored, check patterned linoleum. Any suggestions?
