Need help for kitchen set

I'm not a fan of the finish for my kitchen set. Rather than replacing it, I want to be budget friendly by replacing the chairs with upholstered parson chairs. However, I also frequently use a tablecloth to cover the finish of the table. Is it "too" much fabric using a tablecloth and upholstered parson chairs together?
