I'd probably paint the fireplace tiles to match the walls. Also, have you considered rearranging the furniture? I've noticed that the friendliest arrangement is like this one, where the sofa faces the two chairs with the fireplace on the side.

P.S. I'm not affiliated with this company, but I noticed they have an alternate arrangement that's more like your current one. I still prefer the first one I shared.

Have you considered adding a mantle?

Here's a couple of craftman style fireplaces to consider. They mostly have substantial wood on them. However, you have a predominance of wood already so I would consider the white painted wood mantle in the first photo. Checkout craftsman style fireplaces on Houzz for more options.

To stay with the craftsman style, you need a heavy wood mantle, preferably hand distressed, (that means you can hit it and scrape it). Also, I like the tile but the problem is the grout. You can perhaps go over the grout with a color that is less contrasted. Your floor and the tile are fighting each other. Please update your lighting to recessed 4 or 5" LED lights to bring the vignette in to the 21 century. Finish off with a large, colorful painting and it will look really good.
