I'm using Revere Pewter on walls and ceiling, separated with a white crown. In other discussions on this site, I've seen BM White Dove suggested frequently if you want a white ceiling.

It depends on how brave you are....Also, on the height of your ceilings. Remember, the white Crown Molding will give the illusion of height, and going with a white ceiling, even more so! However, I've seen a friend of mine that did a maroon/grape (for lack of better descriptor)! It looks beautiful! I would do it, by the hubby would never go for it lol!

I just painted my walls Revere Pewter and went thru several ceiling colors before I got to the right one. Painters are still currently on my job. I have crown and painted it white dove and ended up picking Edgecomb gray at 50% on the ceiling.
I had crazy lighting problems, that's why I went thru so many colors...Edgecomb gray at full strength looked almost the same as revere pewter on my ceilings even though it's lighter. Edgecomb gray at 25% didn't look good, was too chaulky looking. Revere pewter at 50% or 25% was too silver.
