Are you talking about table/island, cabinets and floor? We can't really see all of it too well. Backsplash should work with and compliment the countertop. If you have an extra piece of it or know the name, use that while shopping to get help with a match. This looks to be open concept, so the colors in the adjoining spaces must be considered too.

Thank you. It is very open. I did the counter myself to appear as a brown granite. The woods include light cherry stained trim and doors, dark cherry floors and medium oak cabinets...culmination of existing woods plus others added for the other adjoining spaces. I like clean, uncluttered looks. Right now this is too busy for me and the colors seem to add to the issue.

To make wall color easier to choose, you might paint the cabs white and the island a dark color. That could open the possibilities for you. Or you could match the island to the walls.

Painting your cabinets a warm white would look pretty but if that is too big of a project (or commitment) for you then I would love to see your walls painted somewhere between a warm white and a linen color. White-ish walls helps your white appliances blend in better. I would add color with large scale contemporary art (possibly just a great framed poster) on the wall on the right side. A small scale glass mosaic backsplash that has whites, beiges and a color close to the color of your cabinets would look nice, too. A few copper accents might look pretty in there, too.

I agree that painting the cabinets a nice warm white would be beautiful, and brighten up the space. The contrasting colors may seem busy because the walls are dark. Consider painting the walls a lighter shade of a blue gray or green. The blue or greenish gray would look great against the oak cabinets, or white if you paint them. Do you have any white trim in your house? You could also paint the trim a fresh white as well. I think a color combination like this might be nice in your home:
