(Reposted with updated budget) I am moving into this home and I only have a $5,000-$10,000 max budget to update my kitchen. We would like to update the countertops to granite and replace the backsplash. I don't want to paint or update the cabinets because I do not want the added expense. On the first photo you can see that there is a butler's pantry in the background. All of the white appliances will stay except the old owner's fridge will be replaced by our stainless steel fridge. This isn't a big deal to me that they won't match for the time being because that's something we'll save up for - we'll use the existing appliances and replace them with what we want when they break. We have to stretch our dollar with what we have. We're looking for resale value in the future, and appliances will be easier to replace when we're actually living in the home rather than countertops/backsplash. We're getting them installed before we move in which is why we're doing them first. The cabinets all have brushed nickel hardware. The wall color is a sage green. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should go for? Thanks!
