I ordered a roof from samples without going to the showroom (doh!). I was going for a medium, variegated grey. Installed over vacation, of course, and I came home to find a monochrome black. I'm bummed because the house will be white in white. Hadn't planned on shutters. Have considered black front door and garage doors but more recently thinking natural wood color. Front door is recessed so thought black might look like a cave.

Trim is the final color. How bad is the contrast with the roof? Should this affect front and garage door color choices? I could add to the mounting price increases and have the house pained to look better with black-not sure I would have chosen that for anything though :(
