My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Kitchen Refinish - Golden Oak to Java/Creme

Photos of our kitchen refinish, cabinets around the appliances and sink are creme, cabinets to the side are java. Countertops are Venetian Gold, floors refinished to Minwax Dark Walnut, backsplash tiles are 4x4 travertine with stone behind the slide in range.

      Did you have the cabinets painted or stripped & stained? Your kitchen looks great and I am in the middle of starting to remodel mine. Would love to know what you did.

      Not quite there yet. We are working with a small independent ( reliable) contractor which will save us a lot in the long run. In the meantime, I keep thinking about all the choices I need to make. Keep me posted on your project!

      Our cabinets were lightly sanded, cleaned, then painted. They have 3 coats of primer, 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Advance paint, some glazing, and then a top coat.

      Hello,

      This change really modernized your kitchen. We like the stone section behind the slide in range a lot because it compliments the silver fridge/freezer appliance. The countertops are also a great change and shine beautifully.

      Your kitchen looks great, one thing you can do to make it look even better is to take down the fake plants on top of your cabinet.

      Great kitchen. I would remove all the small plants in the bay window and buy one large focal plant or a herb garden that is in one amazing planter. Also finishing up the window with some bamboo roll up shades or 4" plantation shutters.
