Miele or bosch. Worth the extra money for how quiet they are.

My husband bought a Bosch dishwasher. I do not like it. I bake, there is no rack arrangement for large kettles, pots and pan or other larger items. Had we found another locally, I would have chosen another interior layout with another brand. Canning jars do not sit pro pearly either. But, perhaps others do not cook, bake, or can like I do.
I live in a very small town so my husband shopped on line. I am not fond of the dishwasher.

I have a Bosch. very quiet and cleans well. However, lower rack has poorly designed track and falls off. I am surprised that such a good company made such a poor design error. I also have trouble arranging dishes as the interior seems smaller than my older dishwasher - probably the increased insulation. The quiet would be a plus in an open floor plan.

I love my Miele and am so glad I spent the extra few hundred dollars. I love how clean it gets the dishes, I love the upper cutlery rack and how the silverware gets clean, and I love how much I can fit in there (times closer together...may not be for you if you have thicker pottery dishes.
