There is a shutter company in PA that makes the Most beautiful shutters. I have talked to them regarding my shutters. I will be ordering soon. They are moremoney, however, it doesn't appear as if you may need many. You could also just do the front. The name is Timberlane Shutters. Google it! You will love the product!

Front doors do look nice with a welcoming color, but I agree the orange is too harsh. You may think this sounds a bit risky, but Benjamin Moore Bordeaux red (or similar) would look great. The home needs some contrast in cool colors to balance the brick and brown roof. Black satin (also Benjamin Moore) for the shutters. I would suggest replacing the lights with larger black ones with a New Orleans style flair which goes with the large windows. The bushes are ok, but a bit confining. Replacing them with odd numbers of conifers (5 in front and 3 to right for example), staggered, not in a row, will give weight to the landscape year round and be more welcoming. This would leave room for flowering perennials in purples, reds and whites to add interest. the bones are there, these elements will add interest and warmth to your new home!
