I have a lot of bamboo growing in my back yard from the previous owners, which has really started to spread out more. I've thought about getting rid of it all, but then thought it might be useful.

So I've been thinking about building a garden fence using the bamboo. I started cutting up some pieces that I've already dried up and places them in the ground as below. It seems like it will take some time but could be done

Has anyone done anything like this before? Any thoughts or considerations for this project?
