How far of a drive would it be for to visit Kiko's Greenhouse on Lincoln Way West? They have a huge selection of just about anything in concrete you could want and they sometimes special order. Here's their address and phone number. They were still in business as of last fall, but perhaps you'd better place a call first.

I found a great one, ancientsculpturegallery.com. I bought two kneeling egytian guards. They will look awesome one either side of my waterfall in front. That site has all kinds of egyptian, greek, roman, etc stuff. Plaques, fountains, statues. I stumbles across it online finally.

kentstar, that site is something else! I browsed for an hour, great find. Which kneeling guard(s) did you order? The one holding the cups in each hand? I only saw guards standing. I'm anxious to hear how satisfied you are with the product and this company after you receive your shipment. Most are fiberglass or resin, yes? I prefer concrete - or stone if I could afford real stone - but the fiberglass would make them easy to move about. My interest is mostly ancient Roman history.

I traveled to Egypt in 1994 on a whirlwind 11 day group tour. We saw so much in so few days that it's pretty much a blur to some extent. But, part of the group opted for a side tour of Auble Simbel, three hour drive both ways across the desert from Aswan. When we got there, the temple was closed but our bus driver (who didn't speak English)convinced the village "gate keeper" to let us enter. Only eleven of us at dusk in that magnificent place. Highlight of the trip, for me at least.

But I'm off topic. Please post pics of your garden with the Egyptian statues when you have them arranged.

Just thought I'd check out this forum tonight and here I see you posted pics of the Egyptian statues last Wednesday! Hey, unique is the word alright.

You know what you need? Some tall grasses planted behind or beside them, but not sure that would work in those raised beds. You could do a whole River Nile theme, you already have the water feature; and you could spot them with some lights. Or a mini Karnak Temple!

Wish I had a good place to try some statuary like these. Thanks for posting.
