Hi, I work at a nursery and I recently noticed the interesting trunk on the banksia ericifolia, and was curious if it could be made into a bonsai? Are you able to prune back branches almost to the trunk if the plant currently stands about 3 feet tall? Please help me because I am rather unfamiliar with this species and have not been able to find much info. regarding it.
