The Sculpted Earth
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsFebruary 26, 2016
This company designed and installed a totally new garden for us, including a fountain and pebble stream. We loved the design, we now love our front garden and our neighbor's comment on how beautiful it is all the time. The work was timely and it was a great experience. Highly recommend them!!

I have hired Lifestyle Landscapes for my Street of Dreams projects as well as several custom homes. They are an excellent design team and have great installers. They have provided fast and efficient service for us and our clients. I would highly recommend them.
Alderwood Landscape Architecture and Construction
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMarch 5, 2013
We hired Alderwood Landscape to redesign and relandscape our yard, take out our concrete driveway and install a paver driveway. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, always concerned that we were happy with the process and the final product. Our project was a big undertaking and there were hicups, but the crew was great at troubleshooting and working with us. We are excited to see our new plants in bloom and the driveway is not not only better from a functional standpoint, but a beautiful improvement.

Room to Grow Designs
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsSeptember 10, 2021
If you are familiar with residential developments known for stacking as many homes as possible onto a small parcel of land... this review is for you. Downsizing landed us in one of those developments. Located at the bottom of a hill with three homes looking directly onto our patio, we had absolutely no privacy. Ken, our landscape designer from Room to Grow, changed our yard from a rectangle piece of grass into a stunning sanctuary of privacy. Ken's resourcefulness proved invaluable as he managed sub-contractors and post-pandemic glitches in availability of materials. He committed to a timeline, and stuck to it. By weaving together several gardens, placing strategic screens which provided the necessary focal points, he was able to design gardens with year-round interest, color, movement and texture throughout. It is beautiful! Room to Grow has proven to be trustworthy, dependable and creative. I have recommended them to our family and friends. Such a stellar business!
Land2c Landscape Architecture
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMay 13, 2015
Land2C designed a rather intricate patio and path design for our garden carefully considering and taking advantage of the existing structures. It was intricate and turned out very well. We get positive comments on it all the time. They also provided and installed the plantings. They spent considerable time with us in planning the entire project, customizing it to our specific needs. Detailed plans were provide all along the way, with the plants and their locations in the garden and instructions for their care. The graphics were clear and easy to use. The garden continues to fulfill our expectations and draws favorable comments from our friends. They come highly recommended.
True Scape Design
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsFebruary 13, 2015
True Scape Design landscaped four sides of our yard for us. They installed low maintenance perennials, like key Lime Cora Bells, wooly thyme, Japanese holly, slender Hinoki cypress, full moon maple,a Hydrangea, daylily and many more. They took out the grass along our driveway and put in blue, and grey stones of different sizes and worked with the rocks already on property. They created bluestone pathways for us. They installed a Roman paver patio and also graded a hill and installed beautiful risers so we can walk off the new extended composite deck and walk down the risers to a peaceful and beautiful patio. Our experience through all this considerable work was confidence in True Scape Design and the owner Joseph Garel. He takes responsibility for his team. They are friendly, aim to please and do a terrific job in an organized way. They are thorough and take individual responsibility to do an excellent job. Everyone works well together. True Scape Design worked with us on choices and design to get what we wanted. When we did not know right away, we were given lots of time and options to consider, for instance in picking out pavers and type of deck material. We felt they really understood what we wanted. The estimates were accurate and bills accurately itemized. There were so many options for spending less in some areas and more in others. The crew went above and beyond to be thorough, fixing a big dip in the grass in the front yard. They were glad to change a ground cover I did not like. They listened to us. My husband and I are thrilled and enjoying our new deck and patio, front and side yards. We appreciate the professionalism, competence, and integrity of True Scape Design and its owner, Joseph Garel . Lynn and Rick Keat
Kitchen Door Landscaping
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsSeptember 16, 2020
Can't recommend Kitchen Door more highly! Whatever your landscaping needs, they're professional, high quality, beautiful, and well worth the price. It was important to us to have a natural design with native and edible plants that didn't need much water. From concept to design to install, it was a truly enjoyable process. They specialize in edible landscaping (hence Kitchen Door!), but can do anything.
Kim Rooney Design
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJune 17, 2013
I hired Kim as my landscape architect after interviewing several other landscape architects and she stood out for two reasons. First she clearly had an eye for design and second she really knew what she was doing. In fact throughout the entire project I was able to witness Kim's amazing ability to be able to stay true to her sense of design and what would work and wouldn't in certain places while also being able to take into consideration my particular taste as a homeowner. Not only was my garden beautiful at the time of the project completion but its beauty has become even more evident over time. For example the plantings are filling in nicely and the trees and plants that were chosen to attract birds have done just that. As a result I am enjoying listening to the sound of birds singing over listening to the sound of traffic which is all I seemed to be able to hear before. I have also been able to enjoy my garden throughout the year as Kim carefully selected plantings that would allow me to have a beautiful garden (both front and back) during all seasons and that is exactly what happened. Many times this past year I thought about how thankful I was that I chose Kim to do the work. I have received and continue to receive many compliments as well. Thank you Kim for doing such an amazing job!
London Design Build
Landscape Architects & Designers in Seattle
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJuly 17, 2016
I worked with Ben and his company on my rooftop deck. The project was amazing, from the first blueprint, to the planning and the execution of the build out, Ben is exceptionally talented. We have since done a couple more phases (additional lighting and back side of the deck build out), I don't have anybody come up on my rooftop without being blown away. I highly recommend London-i.
