I received a bonsai cabernet grape vine for Christmas and am very new to the art of bonsai plant. The instructions are very confusing regarding dormancy. In one statement, it tells me the plant will perform better next year if allowed to go dormant. In another sttaement, it tells me the plant has been forced to think it is June and to keep it in a bright warm location. What should I do, allow it to go dormant? or keep it alive as if it was summer.
