when to start monopsis seed

20 years ago

I purchased monopsis regal purple from value seeds (impulse based on picture - hard to learn that lesson). Anyway, instructions say surface sow 65 degrees, germinate 21 to 30 days but no info on how early to start seed. Does anyone have experience? Thanks
