Another area needing some advice

Great start hanging the pots on the lattice! That's so cool!

In the boxes, you could put some seeds in there of stuff that would grow fast, Zinnias, Basil, 4'o'clocks, Nasturtiums. I'd put them in there with the marigolds, let the plants decide who wins the wild beauty atop your fence.

In the pots on the fence, hmm... which way do they face? I'd use different plants for facing north or east than I would for south or west which would get hot, harsh afternoon sun. Also, generally, the higher up they are, the more sun.

Do you mind saying what state you are in? (To give an idea of how long you have before frost.)

Thanks! I'm in MA. The Lattice with the pots is facing South. It pretty much gets full (HOT) sun all day long. Thanks for the advice on the boxes too! LOVE Zinnia, I always forget though lol

You could add some vinca vines in the boxes & planters, they would look really nice, you'll need to go to your gardening center and see what they have left, were already 1/2 way through our growing season so you may not have alot to choose from. Great fence for privacy and a nice job with the lattice. I'd love to be in your pool today, we are expected to hit 100 today in the Hudson Valley,NY.........

Agree it's going to be tough to find much at this time of year. In general though, for hot sun, I'd suggest some that like to be hot, don't mind drying out quite a bit...
