That looks like a Star of Bethlehem from the genus Ornithogalum.

I just got done digging about a gazillion of the awful "Star of Bethlehem" out of my front garden bed. I cnanot get rid of it. Does anyone know if Round Up would work? I hate them. I dig them out evey year and no matter what I do I can't get rid of them!

Just cut off the leaves and let them stay in the garden. The leaves will add a small amount of nitrogen and after a while the bulbs will run out of stored food and die.

Retha, 16 years late to the party to ID a plant that was promptly and accurately ID'd way back then!! Was there a point to your tardy comment??

She might not have noticed the date but if this was a topic of interest - enough to generate her response - then certainly she would have read through the previous comments and figured out the question of identification had already been confirmed years ago?

I don't want to discourage anyone but we can all benefit from using a bit of common sense.
