Have not seen any this season at the local Costco stores.
Guess they didn't order this year. Only saw a few, briefly, at the Sams Clubs last fall. Neither one have had much in the gardening category lately. Guess it's true, the prediction that the public's gardening enthusiasm is on the wane. It is apparent here with a decline in Garden Club and Plant Society participation. For 35 years, there was a full line nursery within walking distance of my house. It closed a few years ago, for lack of customers. I now am forced to drive about 35 miles to find a decent selection of plants.
A sad commentary!

Costco just got their summer plants in. A few new varieties and lots of the usual. Prices are up a dollar or two. Al

Al,
What plants(bulbs?) do they sell at your Costco?
They usually send coupons for bulbs, but this season we recieved the coupon offers for spring - no coupons for bulbs.

At Costco this time of year these plants were offered, Canna, Elephant Ears,Phlox,Daylily,Gladiolus, Asiatic Lilies, Peonies, probably a few more I forget. Al

I bought all of the bulbs you mentioned in our local Costco a couple of days ago.

We also have astilbes here (CA central coast). More plants per box and higher prices.
I didn't see bulbs offered last fall.
My other disappointment is 2 roses pkgd together. I using their customer comments box.

I was in the costco here yesterday - They have gladiolas, dahlias, lilies, daylilies, etc. No roses yet, but they had lilacs and blueberries.

I purchased tulips and daffodils from Costco this year.

I'm sorry you missed them. They had quite a large display here.

Costco's packaging two roses per box is also aggravating me. The chances of two roses being packed together that are both roses you wish to grow is pretty slim. They do this with many products and in my opinion it is a bad strategy that causes me to not buy the product. Al
