Can anyone suggest some annuals to plant with orange and yellow bi-colored dahlias? I also need ideas to coordinate 2 pots with the same colors. I know I will have a tall spike and maybe vinca vine. I am open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I love purple with orange and blue with yellow, so both would look great with your dahlias.Blue salvia would look great or purple of some kind...purple petunias maybe.

Tall ageratum....forget the cultivar...but it gets about 14 inches tall. Perfect foil to oranges.

bear in mind some plants do better with certain other plants, the true meaning of 'companion planting'.

According to the book "roses love garlic", dahlias are SAID to protect nearbye flowers from nematodes.
