Is it just me or do the daffodils seem to be confused this year? We are still about 3 to 4 weeks away from peak daffodil season here but I see a lot of foliage up with fewer than normal blooms. Some varieties like the Campernells seem to be completely missing this year. The snowflakes are up early and have very few blooms. Has anyone else noticed this or is it unique to my area?

I know we had an unusually warm fall but we have had several weeks of chilly weather. The rain seems about normal. Any thoughts?
