I'm planning a small container garden on a rooftop deck. Foliage plants will be tropical things like elephant ears, cannas, sweet potatoes, and grasses. I'd like a few flowering annuals in BRIGHT shades of red or orange to provide color but I know this is going to be a tough spot because the plants will be subjected to blazing sun all day, heat, humidity, wind, and occasional drought (when I forget to water!). So the plants have to be tough! Oh, and of course I want them to bloom all summer and into the fall. :o) So far I have Lantana, and maybe Calibrachoa. Any more suggestions?
