I know you asked about 'Double Fire', but I wanted to say that I have a six pack of Zahara Double Cherry seedlings growing under lights. My current plan is to have a few along a hot driveway edge in front of some shastas and with some Ageratum blue horizon or Salvia farinacea and feverfew.
I hope these zinnias live up to their catalog description.

I grew the Zahara series last year. Yes, they're a nice zinnia and very much like the profusion series. IOW, mildew resistant and very weather tolerant, constant bloom with an excellent colour range in the mix. If you like profusions, you'll very much like the Zaharas.

Calliope, do the Zahara series bloom as long as the Profusions? I've grown the Profusions for several yrs and they bloomed until mid Fall, depending on when we got our 1st frost. I looked at the Parks site and they said the Zahara series will bloom as long as the hot weather is around. Normally, we don't have 'hot' weather past August. So I'm wondering, when it's starts getting cooler, will they stop blooming?
