Can someone give me a possible name

Hi all,

I'm going crazy trying to find a picture of the plant that I grew last summer that I loved and can't figure out what it was.

It was nice green foilage with little purple and bluish flowers, it bloomed all summer, got really full and big.

The flowers reminded you of little orchids.

I bought it at Walmart, I was in Pennsylvania, so I am asuming it was an annual.

It was part sun, so I stuck it out front and people would walk by seeing it in a container and comment on how big and beautiful it was.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't even know a web site to go to, I have been looking on Google for a long time.

Could it be lobelia?
I'm not sure how to attach a link...but if you do a google search of images it may look familiar.

It would help if you described the foliage, too. Were the leaves pubescent (fuzzy)?

I was heartily disappointed this year when I realized I was unable to find streptocarpella. It's such a good performer for me. Could that be it?

My friend in PA is actually checking all the Walmart stores up there to see if they have them to get a name!
Now I can call her and tell her not to.
Thanks again, it was driving me crazy.
By the way, I love these plants, they are beautful!

My neighbor grew them last year. They just kept blooming and blooming, and she didn't even have to deadhead them.

I grew these a few years ago and really enjoyed them. I had kind of forgotten about them, and after this post, when I was at the nursery the other day I picked up a few pots. Thanks for the reminder, butterfly!
