annuals for low pH soil?

I will be planting a blueberry bush in a small raised bed, a snap decision today when I was at the nursery looking for something. The bed is in my fenced in vegetable garden. I already planted red poppies and marigolds in the bed along the front edge (I was expecting to put maybe a tomato there, or I don't know what). I will be building a second raised bed for a second blueberry this weekend.

Now I think that the pH required for the blueberry will be too low for the poppies and marigolds.

Is there an annual that will thrive there, for color? The blueberry is pretty small and scrawny and I wanted some annuals for interest.

Another related question: can I put strawberries in the same bed as the blueberries? Or are the ph needs different?

Anxiously awaiting some advice, I plan on planting tomorrow.

We all know what "they" say about soil PH and what likes what....but in the grand scheme of things, most soil types in the US are close enough to a neutral Ph that you really don't need to obcess about it.
I know blueberries do like it acid and will pout if the Ph is too low...but most things don't care. Certainly not marigolds.
And as those of us who have been digging in the dirt for lots and lots of years will say, compost acts as the great equalizer. Pile on the compost and you can grow most anything....but for a few things...like gypsophilia! LOL!
