You really did a good job picking plants who will be 'happy' together for one thing and appropriate for the exposure. You also picked some higher quality plants and used some imagination. Planters in my area have been the 'same ole/same ole' for many years. I get so sick of seeing dracaena spikes and vinca vines for the upright and trailing interest.

Your choice of colours opposite on the wheel is spot on, and then that burst of red. I don't know why nice arrangements like that couldn't be profitable. It would all depend on how you market it. Perhaps offer to fill people's containers. That way, you wouldn't have to worry with accumulating containers or floral inventory. If you wanted to start a little cottage business, you could even go on site to do it.
