I bought pretty petunias to plant in front of my holly bushes. Then I read on the accompanying plastic info tab, that they should be planted in pots or containers. Anybody out there plant them in the ground by themselves? Should I just buy something else? I used impatience last year and they did not do well (intense sun part of the day). I am sick of begonias. Any suggestions or are the petunias ok?
