I started some Coconut Ice Chrysanthemum plants from seed this spring and set them in the ground in full sun. So far, I haven't seen much from these plants--very limited growth and no signs of blooms. The description said they are an annual. The foliage is very different from other mum varieties--the leaves are very lacy. Our weather hasn't been great, it was dry but cool throughout May, then we got 10 inches of rain in 10 days. Now it has turned hot and dry. Perhaps this plant doesn't like the heat? I'd love to hear your experience with this variety.
