Gerbers do best outdoors this time of year.The fresh air and elements really suit Gerbers better.Part sun is best.

Thanks! I'm only concerned because it's so windy here, so I'm not sure I can put it on the balcony. It's windy like 90% of the time...

Do you happen to know anything about the grey spots on the leaves? They do seem odd to me... though both the blooms kind of wilted so I cut them off, and there doesn't seem to be any kind of spots on the leaves.

Windy isn't an issue -- just means you may need to water much more frequently.

The grey spots: in your 1st post you said it is NOT on the leaves, in the 2nd you said it is.... which is it? Can you post a pic?

I meant petals - I was tired when I wrote it. Though now there are very light ones... I'm not really sure if it's an issue. I will post a picture later though.

Here are some pictures of the leaves, I don't know if these little white spots are just dust collecting in an odd way (they do rub off easily). I don't wanna wait until it's too late, and I can't find any pictures on the internet of leaf fungus (or that sort of thing). Thanks in advance!

Okay! That's good... my only concern now is that it's been about a week and the little blooms aren't coming up from the bottom. I can see them - there's about five. But maybe I'm just being overly paranoid with it because of all the horror stories I've heard...

I grow them as potted plants in my greenhouses. It takes awhile for the little buds to go boing and rise up. They can be prone to crown rots from over watering, expect a dose of fertiliser once in awhile and really, although they can be grown inside with a decent light source, really do better in ground for long term enjoyment. Also they're susceptible to spider mites. Your's look quite healthy, btw.

Glad to hear it! I don't feed it any fertilizer so perhaps I should be doing that, I'm just not quite sure what kind to use...

I usually bottom water is also, unless I feel like the soil is really dry I will give it some water at the top also.
