Hi: I need to find out how to deadhead the hollyhock Zebrina. I wasn't sure where to post this question, seeing it's not a perennial. So thought I'd post it here. It's blooming great, but I'm seeing a lot of deadbuds and don't know how to deadhead it. Do I cut off the stalks as they don't bloom anymore, or when they start to dwindle down with the blooms? The one tall one in the middle is almost done, but it'll look stupid if I cut that one down; it won't have any center stalk. Thanks for any info. you can give me.
