Based on the scalloped leaves I see, I think the pink flowering plant is kalanchoe blossfeldiana.

The blue flowering plant is scaveola. It's also called fan flower.

thanks ~~~ that's what I thought it was ~~ but I thought it was mainly a *house* plant, ie: poinsettia ~~ it was supposed to be an outdoor gift ~~ & the flowers are just about all *done* ~~ we just received it on Monday ~ drat!

It looks like there's a little vinca between the kalanchoe and geranium, the variegated leaves.

Many florists don't know jack about plants. I say this as a former florist who does.

In some climates kalanchoes can go outside but they certainly don't bloom all summer like other annuals. They require day length manipulation like poinsettias to bloom.

The wholesale and retail cost of the kalanchoe is more than the other plants for less value as an outdoor planter...I'd call and ask them to replace it. It is shot...
