new to Zinnias - question

I purchased a couple flats of Dreamland and I've read some posts about pinching them for more flowers. My question is, do I just take off the flower head or cut further down the stalk? I just want to make sure I do what I need to so I can get the most flowers possible!

Pinching usually means pinching off the main bud while it is still immature and unopened. You could also pinch off a few lateral buds as they form, but at some point you want to stop and let the plant bloom. Removing faded flowers is called "deadheading" and it is also a good thing to do to help prolong the blooming season.
