Thin-leaved slicing cabbage

Greetings,

about a year ago I had some really thin-leaved cabbage (paper thin) at someone's house, which my whole family enjoyed. We do a lot of winter salads out of sliced cabbage and shredded carrots, and this is of some relevance because my teenage daughter will eat them most of the time.

My problem is that the cabbages I grow have much thicker leaves and those I can buy at the farmer market are exactly the same. So I wonder if someone knows a named variety, and help improve the vitamin intake of my progeny. It was a white cabbage, not a red one (red ones tend to be thicker anyway).
