Naked Ladies Indoors?

Has anyone here ever grown lycoris squamigera (naked ladies) indoors? I have about 8 mature bulbs I'll be planting outside tomorrow, and I'd like to see if I could grow one indoors. I've grown the big Amaryllis bulbs (genus Hippeastrum) before, but am wondering if I should do something different for lycoris, or should I even try at all? Any suggestions?

Lycoris is not a house plant - it will not last long indoors and eventually die a miserable death - outside plant it in a sunny spot and let it do its thing where it will return for many many years. Don't try to defy the laws of nature! Plant all of your Naked Lady Bulbs outside.
