This wonderful Nicotiana drops millions of seeds in the UK. Unwanted, but seedlings are easily removed. This year I decided to replant 3 healthy ones in a clump. Well, one turned out to be as the original...3 colours, one was pure white, and the other a good deep pink. Foliage differs on each. Suppose they have hybridised, but I had no other Nicotianas last year. I would very much like to keep the pure white and pure pink forms.....in fact I like them more than the tri-coloured.....but I imagine that any collected seeds could revert back. Has anyone else found these variations? I am trying to root stem-cuttings...seem ok so far! All 3 plants are 4 ft x 4ft.
