Not sure where you live, but most bulbs can take a certain amount of frost; and indeed, even benefit from a good chill. Tender ones such as amaryllis don't, of course; but the ones you mention seem to love it. If the containers are somewhat close to the house, you can relax a bit as well. This will provide some protection. If you are going to experience deep and prolonged snow, bring them in for a bit during that time just to be sure. Bulbs in the ground have a bit more protection, as they are planted deeper than in containers and generally have more resources available to them to survive.

We get temps to zero and snow and ice as well as frost. I can put them in the flower bed up against the house, but I don't have any outside buildings to put them in. And I really don't want to bring them inside.
