I have grown Gloriosa daisies, Irish Eyes, and Indian Summer. They are all exceptional in their first bloom. But re-bloom is very sparse and the plants are not attractive enough to pay the rent for their garden space. This year, I grew Zinnia Zowie Flame in their space and it was spectacular all summer. It is my new Rudbeckia.

Here are pictures of Rudbeckia Indian Summer that I started from seeds last March, and the Indian Summer flower bed that I just now dug up. I saved seeds for next year. I also started some seeds in the summer, so I will have more Indian Summer blooming now and into the Fall. They are one of my favorite annuals, and I also love Zowie Zinnia and started them from seed also.

Our weather is mild but Rudbeckias decline after 2 months of blooming but they produce enough seeds for re-seeding and seed saving for new plants..
