is the storage room really cold?
what about moving the pots outside to a sheltered dry spot? IME it shouldn`t be a problem to keep Crocus in containers outdoors in z7. Perhaps put some twigs or dry leaves on top.

I keep planting one large container with tulips/daffodils and crocusses in fall and it usually works. (I swap them with summer annuals , so plant fresh bulbs each year).

They could be transplanted with roots intact but I assume you wanted a potted display.

Now they have foliage they need sun. Are outdoor night temps. a great deal colder than the cold storage?

If it is cold in the room I would leave them in peace. Or move them outside to stay chilled enough. Mine have shown already in pots outside but they will sit tight until spring light and temperature are sufficient for them to grow further. I would definitely not start digging them up.
