Hi all:

I 'planted' three paperwhites in forcing jars (water, no stones). One of them produced roots in just a few days and is growing nicely. The other two (from the same batch of 12) have not formed any roots after 2 weeks.

For comparison, I planted 4 bulbs from the same batch in a glass vase over stone chips. Two of the bulbs grew roots in 3 days.

All of the bulbs I planted have white sprouts- about 3/4 in high with a little green showing.

Any thoughts as two why the 2 I started 2 weeks ago are not showing any sign of growing roots? Anything I can do to address this?
