Storing 4 oclocks tubers

Hi Gardenwebbers!

I have a question on 4 oclocks. I just acquired some beautiful kalaidascope tubers (lots of oranges and yellows, pink and white) and would like to plant them next year.

How do I save these tubers? In peat moss? I have an unheated greenhouse connected to my house that doesn't ever freeze so I think they would be safe in here, but don't know what they need to have to be saved. Baggies with peat moss? Just plain bags with nothing? Any advice will be appreciated!

I live in the mountains and we get snow so I don't know if they would make it if I plant them out. I do have other 4 oclocks in my yard that I let seed naturally.

I think they will keep packed in anything from peat to newspaper as long as they are not touching each other or getting wet or frozen, easier I think in a box. Your four oclocks in your garden probably have produced tubers that survive your winter temperatures as I think the new ones will do next year. Al
